How much does it cost for a custom website?

While this type of question usually makes designers cringe I will try and provide some guidelines. For completely custom ExpressionEngine websites we tend to start at $4,000 USD and work up from there. Depending on the complexity of the site it can go up substantially. Things that make the cost go up? Templating the membership functionality (login, member list etc), forums or incorporating complex modules like Solspace’s Rating Module or Related Entries Module. Timeline can also make the cost go up as well. Tell us you need it in two weeks and see the cost double 
Seriously though there are a lot of options here. If you want we can take one of our templates and make some minor modifications to it to fit your needs. This makes good use of work that has already been done and can save you some cash.
