Does PhotoStudio Template use the Gallery Module?

No. Our PhotoStudio template for photographers makes use of the weblog or channel functionality in EE and not the Photo Gallery module. We caught wind that the Gallery module was going away in V2.0 of ExpressionEngine and wanted to provide as much forward compatibility as possible.
