OK so all kidding aside YAML is probably my favorite CSS Framework of all time!
I have not, in the past, been a big fan of CSS Frameworks. I did an analysis of 4 or 5 of them about a year ago for our internal usage. I found them to be massive and confusing. There was a lot of good useful code but for the majority of websites 75% of that code was not needed.
Well, after 8 months I find myself revisiting CSS Frameworks trying to see what advancements have been made. I tried YAML before and thought it really well thought out but this time I am really thinking of adopting this framework. Anything to speed up production. Funny thing is that if you look at Dirk Jesse’s website High Resolution you will notice a little link down at the bottom. Created with ExpressionEngine!
So if you are looking for a good CSS Framework you can try YAML, 960 Grid System, Fluid 960 Grid System, Yahoo UI Grids System or Blueprint CSS on for size. Who knows. It may be something that really speeds up your production.
